Druids Glen

A vibrant, floral parkland masterpiece carved through the Wicklow Mountains. Known affectionately as the "Augusta of Europe."

The Vibe

Nestled in the mystical Wicklow Mountains, Druids Glen is a vibrant, explosive display of floral parkland golf. Known affectionately as the "Augusta of Europe," the course is famous for its vibrant displays of rhododendrons, dramatic elevation changes, and treacherous water features that guard the heavily contoured greens.

Following a massive, €8 million restoration project completed in 2023, the course conditioning has been elevated to an elite tier. The bunkers were completely rebuilt, the greens upgraded, and the famous stone bridges and waterfalls restored to their former glory. The stretch of holes from 12 to 14, looping around the Celtic crosses and deep forests, is one of the most photographed in Ireland.

The adjoining 5-star Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort provides a modern, highly polished luxury retreat. It lacks the ancient medieval history of the castle estates, replacing it with massive, contemporary suites, a sprawling health club, and brilliant modern dining.

The Access Masterclass

Vault Intel

Access & Location: Located just south of Dublin, Druids Glen is a staple for luxury tours based out of the capital. It is highly accessible, but the peak Saturday and Sunday morning tee times are heavily coveted by local Dublin elites and corporate members.

The Restoration Premium: Since the 2023 overhaul, demand has skyrocketed. To guarantee access to the Championship course (rather than the sister Druids Heath course), visitors must secure stay-and-play packages well in advance of the summer season.
